Be aware that Eventbrite is not the host of the event only the ticket supplier, if you need to contact the organiser of the event directly it is very difficult to get a response from them

Bad customer service

I am the President of an association which organized an event in New York on October 10, 2024.
The participants paid via Eventbrite.
The money is still in the hands of Eventbrite, which has been unable to transfer it to the association's bank account.
Eventbrite dosesn't offer any help to resolve the problem, except transferring me to JustAnswer. JustAnswer asks me questions via text messages but their system tells me "you cannot respond via this number".

We bought tickets for a New Year's Boat Party with CAF Enterprices LLC and paid $150.00 per person. They also sold tickets under Yate.com at $195.00. They oversold the event and 1 hour before it was supposed to start, sent messages to the Eventbrite customers indicating that they were getting a refund, We couldn't contact anyone and went to the boat to talk to the organizer, who was extremely rude and told us that the event was cancelled for the Eventbrite customers and was still valid for the Yate.com customers. When people complained, he threatened us that if we didn't leave, he was going to call the police, since it was a private event, he could decide who boarded the boat, and we were going to jail for trespassing.
